Foreign languages have always been my passion. They are useful to communicate but also to know the deep essence, to understand, to reach out, to empathize, to welcome, to live places, flavors and different cultures, to have no filters.
At high school I studied English and French but also some German and Russian. I learned Spanish listening to music and thanks to some native friends, as well as Portuguese. Thanks to my real building business in Romania, I have a base of Romanian and, finally, I enrolled at university to study Arabic and to specialize in my Russian studies, started at high school. Lately I started a Chinese course as self-taught.
Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies, which combines my enthusiasm for languages and my curiosity for new places. I have a tendency to turn into a job all my hobbies and in fact it was so also for travels, thanks to my occupation as an export manager. Holidays in too "artificial" places bore me and I much prefer to go into a new country discovering its habits and traditions, not as a tourist but as an inhabitant (even if only for short periods). I like to mingle among the locals, experience the local life, taste the strangest foods and venture into places that are not the usual standard tourist destinations. Indeed one of my favorite books is a geography book that deals with the issue of border lands in a very poetic way.
Lately, I am trying to teach my language and to speak of my country in 8 languages, through my Youtube channel "Imparo Viaggiando!" (link: "Video-Lessons on Youtube" in the menu above).
I am also preparing a review of grammar that can be useful to all the people who want to study any foreign language.
Good study to you all !!! :)
